Built from driftwood and pieces of old shipwrecks, Dune Preserve is Bankie Banx's beachfront kingdom on Rendezvous Bay — part bar, part stage, part living art installation. Often called "the Bob Dylan of the Caribbean," Bankie founded the legendary Moonsplash festival here, and his story is now told in the award-winning 2024 documentary "King of the Dune." Live music runs most nights — driftwood benches, sand underfoot, and one of the last truly authentic music venues left in the Caribbean.

Built — and rebuilt after every hurricane — by Bankie's longtime friend Bullet, Dune Preserve rises straight out of the dunes on Rendezvous Bay. It's proof that the best things in Anguilla are made by hand, by people who refuse to give up on a place they love.

Dune Preserve sits right on the dunes of Rendezvous Bay — walk in off the beach or park nearby. Open every day except Mondays, with live music and a different lineup each evening (check the calendar to see who's playing). Most nights have a small cover charge at the door, while Sunday afternoons with Bankie Banx & Friends are free. Come barefoot, grab a drink at the driftwood bar, and settle in.
