About
Tradition is a classic West Indian sloop, hand-built on the beach in Carriacou, Grenada, in 1978 — originally used for trading, and in her younger days, the occasional contraband run to and from St. Barths. Today she sails out of Sandy Ground under Laurie and Deborah, who keep things refreshingly relaxed: casual by day, a little more "sailing chic" for sunset. Laurie and Deborah have made Tradition the island's top-rated sailing experience on TripAdvisor, known for lobster lunches at Prickly Pear, snorkel trips to Little Bay, and one of the best sunset sails around. Every year before hurricane season, Tradition sails back home to Carriacou for a refit, then returns for another season on the water.
